The wine pairing was very interesting and we learned some history from the sommelier as well. Service was impeccable. They even brought us a tiny birthday cake with a candle at the end. “ Absolutely recommend this spot. The food is creative and well-balanced — a great mix of Mediterranean flavours with a bit of Asian fusion here and there. Some dishes were a little underwhelming and felt like they were missing that final touch, maybe could’ve been combined or refined for more depth. But overall, the menu was really solid. Service was amazing — super friendly and attentive. The meal did take a bit longer than expected, probably due to a small team and not many tables, but it didn’t feel rushed, just a slower-paced evening. Loved the little Polaroid at the end — such a sweet, personal touch that made the night feel extra special. It was a really enjoyable experience, perfect for a chill but memorable gathering. I’d definitely come back, especially to try the wine pairing. Did a bit of digging on the co-owner and chefs — it really feels like this isn’t just another business to them. You can tell they’re doing it out of passion, and it shows in the food. They’ve got other ventures that probably help support this place, which is kind of cool. “ 5-Star Review! I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Azura for my birthday, and I must say, it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. But the real star of the show was the food. Every dish we ordered was expertly prepared, presented, and devoured. The flavours were amazing and the quality was exceptional. I also had the coctail pairing (bf had the wine pairing) with dinner which went perfectly with our courses. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, with a warm and inviting decor. Overall, I would give Azura 5 stars! I would reccomend and definetly will be going back again. ”

“ Incredible tasting menu experience for a special occasion. (Price for 2 with cocktail pairings, tax and tip came to 700) The service was unparalleled - very attentive, but without being too in your face, and extremely accommodating to dietary restrictions (no dairy for half the party). We visited for an anniversary and they surprised us with personalized and handwritten card, which was a nice touch. They also took a Polaroid photo at the end for us to take home. Every dish was described to the utmost detail and the components were complex and innovative. Portions were large compared to typical tasting menus (some of the later mains could have passed for full size portions it felt like) and we couldn’t finish the last few dishes. The desserts were on the weaker side compared to the rest of the menu for us, but we loved the apps and mains. We opted for cocktail pairings - 1 alcohol and 1 spirit free, pricing was similar for both (around 100 each), included around 5 drinks. Drinks were creative (such as one being an olive oil based drink) and large as well, and we couldn’t finish the last few. Worth trying either the pairing or just ordering a la carte if you’re into trying something very different, though it might not be for everyone as some of the drinks were definitely “out there”. ”

“ Took my best friend here for her birthday. We both grew up below the poverty line so it was our first time splurging on a Michelin tasting menu and they blew it out of the water! So kind- introduced each dish with care and complexity. Everything was so flavourful (I didn’t know Ontario had a native fruit!). You can tell the staff, the chefs, and overall the people really care about what they do. 10/10 they should’ve charged me more - felt like I was dining and dashing for that price! ”

“ What a way to enjoy an excellent tasting menu on Danforth. Michelin caught on to this place and Josh is like a hawk ensuring the customer experience is spot on. The whole team is exemplary. Note they will serve glasses of wine but focus on their delicious cocktails. Not one for these drinks had me change my mind in how delicious they are. I am now a big fan of their mixed drinks. Dinner took about 3 hours for 11 courses and flowed well. Skip two dinners out for one dinner here and enjoy every morsel. ”
